Welcome to the Graveyard Draft.

This is where the unfinished things live. The scenes I buried. The words I tried to forget. Some nights, I dig them up just to see if they still bleed.

I write in the hours no one talks about. the ones where the world feels off-kilter, like time forgot how to move forward. When silence hums and shadows lean a little too close.

This isn't a brand. It isn't polished. It’s restless.

You won’t find answers here. Just stories with teeth, strange echoes, and maybe a few pieces of me I haven’t stitched back in yet.

If you're still here, good. You probably belong.

Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win.
— King
The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins?
— Poe

About the Author

I’m Jessica McGovern. I write things that don’t like staying on the page.

I was never drawn to happy endings. I like the moments before the fall. The crack in the mirror. The sound you’re not supposed to hear.

I grew up in the quiet. The kind that feels heavy. I learned early how to keep secrets, how to disappear, how to watch the world and write it down in case no one remembered it right.

I don’t believe in muses. Just obsession.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading or chasing ghosts through old dark memories.

I live where the light fades. That’s where the stories come from. That’s where I do my best work.
